Search Assistant
Developer: RIE Technology Corp.
Panel that searches the web and free stock sites for images, filtered by license, inside After Effects and Premiere Pro.
What Search Assistant does
Search Assistant from RIE Technology Corp. adds image search to After Effects and Premiere Pro. Rather than opening a browser, you can look up pictures from a web image search engine or pull free stock photos from sites like Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay and Wikimedia Commons.
License filtering is the main convenience. A Creative Commons filter shows images that are usually free but might need credit or carry limits, while another filter covers commercial and other licenses from free or paid sources. Editors can check usage terms before importing anything.
