What Shardflow does
Egret Studios' Shardflow makes destruction effects in Blender. A single click automates the whole fracturing process, with controls in the 3D View Sidebar, suitable for simulations and cinematic scenes.
Modes are vertex-based, particle-based or Grease Pencil stroke-driven, with 2 to 10,000 fragments. Voronoi cell control scales cells in 3D space to determine how pieces break, and collections are managed automatically. Effects artists can quickly prepare objects for rigid body breakups. The same setup can feed either a quick still of shattered glass or a full rigid body animation.
