CGMatter's procedural Blender add-on that vacuum-wraps objects in realistic plastic film with a single click.

What Shrinkwrap Simulator does

Plastic shrink film on products and packaging is difficult to fake convincingly. CGMatter's Shrinkwrap Simulator creates it procedurally in Blender with one click, and the result stays steady from frame to frame so animations do not flicker.

Choose the Surface object, then adjust the film: Tightness sets how snugly it hugs the form, Detail the mesh resolution, Smooth the rounding at sharp edges and corners, Blur the softening, and Buffer a further offset along the normal. Good for product visuals and packaging mockups.

Key features

  • One-click procedural setup
  • Tightness and detail controls
  • Smooth and blur for edges and corners
  • Buffer offset along surface normal
  • Stable across animation frames
