What Spyderfy: Boid Systems Add-On does
Spyderfy makes it simple to put flocks and swarms into Blender scenes. Animated 3D creatures and birds are attached to particle-based boid systems in a few clicks.
Setup has four steps: pick the creatures, name the system, optionally choose a goal for them to chase, then add and tweak their movement. Version 2.0 assets by Elliot Feys include bats, crows, seagulls, sparrows, hummingbirds, butterflies, flies and black widows. Filmmakers and 3D artists can bring life to horror, nature and fantasy scenes.
