Square Peg
Developer: .nook
After Effects tool for styling each shape corner separately as square, squircle, round, bevel or inverted.
What Square Peg does
Square Peg adds per-corner control to shape layers in After Effects. Rather than applying one rounding value to a whole rectangle, you can treat every corner independently and pick a different style for each.
Choices include square, squircled, rounded, bevelled and inverted corners. You can also move the anchor point so width and height grow from another spot, and unlock roundness past the usual half-of-shortest-side limit. Fill and stroke colors save inside presets, and a quick manual sits within the interface for reference. It supports recent After Effects versions through 2026.
Key features
- Five corner styles per corner
- Movable anchor for width and height growth
- Roundness beyond half the shorter side
- Fill and stroke colors saved with presets
- Built-in quick manual
