SUGARfx Subtitles
Developer: SUGARfx (FxFactory)
Imports, styles and exports subtitles in After Effects, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, including marker-based text.
What SUGARfx Subtitles does
SUGARfx Subtitles adds subtitle handling to editing hosts through FxFactory. It imports SRT, SBV, script files and the custom UserTC format, and exports SRT and other formats.
Markers from Final Cut Pro X, Final Cut Pro 7 and Premiere Pro can be read as subtitle text, synchronised and accurate to the timecode. Hundreds of fonts and languages are supported, with style tags on every format and control over font, style, tracking, justification and position. Auto wrapping, margins, text backgrounds, auto duration tuning and overlap safeguards help polish results, and presets suit multi-user setups. Editors who add burnt-in or exportable subtitles can do both in one tool.
