Time Bend
Developer: Satori
Replacement for Time Displacement with luma-driven frame control, blend modes and looping.
What Time Bend does
Time Bend from Satori is a more flexible alternative to After Effects' Time Displacement effect, available in After Effects and Premiere Pro. It uses a map to decide which frame each pixel shows, producing time-warping looks and offers more control over the frame sequence.
Channel modes include Luma, RGB, or one of red, green, blue or alpha. Five blend modes combine source and destination, and curve shapes cover linear ramp, triangle and three sine phases with phase, floor and a graph. Destination Blend Size and Offset govern transitions, loops are supported, time mapping can be animated via curve phase, and a sample projects pack is included.
