TRIDENT
Developer: ccordi
Blender add-on that imports UMAP, t-SNE or PCA embeddings from CSV and renders them as point clouds with EEVEE.
What TRIDENT does
TRIDENT helps scientists and data visualizers show dimensionality-reduced data in Blender. It imports CSV tables with one data point per row, holding XYZ coordinates from UMAP, t-SNE or PCA and, optionally, extra columns for labels or groups.
The points are drawn as point clouds using the EEVEE render engine, and the add-on exports figures or animations for papers and presentations. This gives researchers cinematic control over camera and lighting for their embedding plots.
Key features
- CSV import of UMAP, t-SNE and PCA coordinates
- Optional label and grouping columns
- Point cloud rendering with EEVEE
- Export of figures and animations
