What Volume Autofit Lattice does
Volume Autofit Lattice creates the smallest lattice that contains your selection in one click, then sets up the lattice modifier for non-destructive deformation. It helps character artists, hard-surface modelers and animators speed up rigging setups.
The lattice aligns itself to the natural axes of the mesh, works from vertices, edges or faces in Edit and Object mode, and offers adjustable subdivision density and custom margins. A wireframe bounding box previews the result before creation.
