What Wayfinder does
Wayfinder by Paul Conigliaro attaches artwork to shape layers in After Effects and keeps it traveling along the path even when the shape is complex or animated. Draw-on and trail effects are the main applications.
Several layers can follow each other along one path, and intricate routes can be built from shape modifiers such as twist and zig-zag. A Leader control on the main shape trims or offsets, with attached layers following, while a Follower control positions each layer individually. An option hides the helper calculation layers it creates.
