YT-Tools
Developer: Yoshiaki Tazaki
Modo-inspired Blender modeling add-on with selection tools, slicing, falloff transforms and a clipboard for Modo.
What YT-Tools does
YT-Tools brings Modo-style modeling habits to Blender. It bundles a broad group of selection tools, loop slicing operators, falloff-based transforms and assorted utilities for polygon work.
On the selection side it converts edges and vertices to faces, selects boundaries, supports contextual double-click selection and X-Ray lasso, and keeps element order in loop selection. Named selection sets can be saved and restored independently of undo. An external clipboard also lets you copy and paste mesh data between Modo and Blender, which helps artists who work in both programs.
Key features
- Modo-like loop, boundary and lasso selection
- Selection sets stored by name
- Loop slice and add loop operators
- Falloff-based transforms
- Clipboard exchange of meshes with Modo
