3D Modeler
Developer: MotionCodes
After Effects tool that extrudes solid, shape, text and transparent layers into textured 3D models.
What 3D Modeler does
3D Modeler from MotionCodes builds three-dimensional models in After Effects by extruding layers. Solids, shapes, text and transparent layers can all be pushed into volumes, forming cubes, origami shapes, geometric forms and pyramids.
To extrude a surface you confirm a depth and offset and click generate. Masks let you carve or alter selected surfaces, while beveling and chamfering use simplified controls for color, depth and rotation angle. Surfaces can be textured individually or in groups with cut-out templates, and an Origami Cube style includes an opening controller and a Wired Mode.
