What 99 Dimensions by Sherif Hany does
99 Dimensions adds architectural dimension lines to 3ds Max scenes and keeps them updated as geometry changes. It targets architects, designers and 3D artists who annotate in the scene itself.
Plan Mode offers an interactive Z-offset and Elevation Mode a perpendicular side offset, so both horizontal and vertical surfaces can be dimensioned. Three clicks place a dimension with full snapping, and Auto-Measure reads bounding-box sizes of one or many objects instantly. Text can be Solid, Outline or 2D Flat; line thickness and color are adjustable; the text scales itself; and units convert live between scene units, mm, cm, m, in and ft. Layer routing, a dockable Qt toolbar and undo/redo support are included.
