Blender add-on that builds ambient occlusion node setups and wires them to Principled BSDF.

What Ao Connector does

AO Connector automates ambient occlusion setup in Blender materials. It creates the node trees and connects them to the Principled BSDF, detecting existing textures and configurations.

It recognizes naming such as basecolor, diffuse, albedo and ORM textures, works on many selected objects at once and keeps original material connections. A panel controls distance, samples, intensity with live preview, inside and local-only options, and shadow color. It can combine baked AO textures with the AO node and offers material locking, safe disconnection, suffix management and batch operations.

Key features

  • One-click AO node tree creation
  • Detects existing texture naming conventions
  • Multi-object operation
  • Control panel with live preview
