ColorFlow
Developer: Théo Miranda
An After Effects script for applying colours and fills across layers, importing palettes and linking colours to a master null.
What ColorFlow does
ColorFlow by Théo Miranda manages colour across many layers in After Effects. Source colours or Fill effects can be applied to text, shapes, solids, footage, compositions and the comp background.
Colour swatches respond to clicks for selecting layers, strokes and fills, and label clicks select layers or toggle shy. Palettes come in from Adobe Colors, Coolors.co, or CSS, JSON and text files, hex codes are cleaned of duplicates, and complementary, triadic, analogous and tetradic harmonies can be generated. Live Color Link ties layers to a master null through expressions and can be unlinked or baked. In After Effects 2024+, palette colours reach 3D models. A time-saver for brand-heavy work.
