Conformal Channel (Old Version)
Developer: Tom Paul
Blender add-on that builds channels following a mesh's shape for boolean cuts in molds and cooled parts.
What Conformal Channel (Old Version) does
Tom Paul's Conformal Channel (Old Version) creates channels hugging a mesh, intended for boolean operations on molds or components needing cooling passages.
It produces a mesh object and a curve object together, hiding the curve by default. Channel diameter and its distance from the mesh are adjustable, the cross-section accuracy can be controlled, and input and output positions and directions can be defined. Engineers and makers working on 3D-printed molds can start from it.
Key features
- Conformal channels for boolean operations
