What FX Trippy DCTL does
FX Trippy DCTL is a DaVinci Resolve Studio effect that derives glitches from the footage: cyberpunk-style silhouette breakups, VHS tearing and mirages. Version 1.1.0 expanded its usefulness beyond full-frame distortions.
Rndm Every X Frame produces new random values every set number of frames, and Flickering bypasses the effect randomly at a frequency you choose. Transparent makes the source see-through or opaque wherever Threshold strips lines on the Edit page. Protect Input Mask keeps displacement from shifting the input mask, though new opaque pixels may still appear, and masks can single out objects for distortion.
