What Depth Scanner does
Depth Scanner estimates how far away things are in an image or a clip and writes the answer as a depth map. Blace Plugins built it for After Effects and Premiere Pro, and version 2 introduced a video model that stays steady from frame to frame.
Eight AI models are included, four of them new in version 2. Depth maps support fog, depth-based grading, transitions, stereo 3D conversion, slicing footage by pixel depth and post-process depth of field. More than 20 colour maps help visualize depth, and with Normal Scanner the depth and normal passes allow relighting and can be exported to 3D tools. macOS and Windows are supported.
