What Re:Vision Effects REZup does
REZup combines two plugins from RE:Vision Effects: REZup Enhance, which improves image quality, and REZup Resize, which increases resolution. Both use machine-learning methods suited to video. It can take SD content to 4K, lift low-resolution AI-generated clips, support LED video walls and remaster older 720p and 1080p footage.
Enhance has separate sharpness, contrast and noise reduction controls. Resize accepts fractional scale factors, handles semi-transparent material with alpha-weighted processing, supports values below 0 and above 1.0, and allows different X and Y factors for anamorphic video. Models are trained for 2X, 3X and 4X, and a cropping window frames the resize.
