Digital Anarchy Beauty Box Video
Developer: Digital Anarchy
Skin retouching and digital makeup plugin that finds skin tones automatically and smooths them.
What Digital Anarchy Beauty Box Video does
Beauty Box Video is a retouching plugin for After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro. It detects skin tones in a shot and builds a mask so smoothing only touches skin, leaving eyes, hair and background alone, which suits HD and 4K portrait work.
Its face and skin algorithms soften blemishes while keeping detail sharp, and on some GPUs it can render in real time or nearly so through CUDA and OpenGL. Version 6.0 added AI-enhanced shine removal. Face data can be saved as After Effects paths and masks, with eyes and mouth as exportable splines, and speed was improved on Apple Silicon.
Key features
- Automatic skin tone detection and masking
- Smoothing that keeps facial detail sharp
- Near real-time GPU rendering on some cards
- AI-enhanced shine removal (6.0)
- Face data exported as paths, masks and splines
