Exploratory
Developer: Spencer Shade (shade.who)
Node-based game engine inside Blender 5.0+ for building interactive scenes without extra installs.
What Exploratory does
Exploratory turns Blender itself into a place to build small games and interactive scenes. It needs no additional plugins or installers and runs on Blender 5.0 or newer, using Eevee, the preview mode or the solid viewport.
Behavior is set up through a dedicated node graph, with nodes for counters, timers, transforms, animations, tracking, projectiles, hitscan, health and parenting. Interactions work in first-person, third-person and perspective view modes, and procedural elements cover collisions, speeds and timers. Up to four threads can run in parallel. It is aimed at artists who want playable prototypes without leaving their modeling environment.
