What FanFilmFX Saber Blade does
FanFilmFX Saber Blade generates glowing lightsaber blades over live footage in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro. You keyframe or rotoscope the blade onto actors holding a prop, ideal for Jedi-style duels in fan videos.
Each end of the blade has its own width, helping with motion blur and perspective, and tip pointiness is adjustable. Any colour can be chosen, flicker and vibration animate automatically, and a cutout section lets the blade appear to pass behind objects or people. It also works in Motion and Final Cut Pro X through FxFactory.
