FilePathFinder, from Kstudio, helps keep scene dependencies under control in 3ds Max. It tracks external links, including XREFs, searches for missing assets, then relinks, collects and archives the files used by a scene.
Other abilities include advanced renaming of assets, renaming links by mask and removing links. The Pro edition adds a Batch Render&Relink tool for organizing model and material libraries in bulk. Thumbnails cover bitmaps, 3D models, proxies, IES files and material libraries, including HDR, EXR and PSD formats. Production teams moving projects between machines will find it useful.
