What Fractal Volume does
Fractal Volume produces three-dimensional fractal noise that actually exists in space, rather than a flat texture. Because it responds to cameras and lights in your scene, you can fly through clouds, nebulae or abstract formations and have them shaded correctly.
You can pick from five fractal types and four noise types, crop the volume along each axis, adjust Map Depth and tweak color, brightness and contrast. Noise density and render quality can be adjusted to balance speed and detail on the GPU. It is useful for atmospheric VFX and backgrounds.
