Hugly

Developer: YB Motion

Download Free

Obfuscates After Effects expressions into unreadable code, or cleans them up for sharing.

What Hugly does

Hugly works in two directions on expression code. In one direction it scrambles expressions into compact, unreadable text, a simple way to protect rigs and templates you distribute. In the other, it reformats expressions into a tidy, readable form.

That makes it useful for template sellers guarding their work as well as for artists who want to pass clean code to teammates. It is a YB Motion release, version 1.0, compatible with After Effects CC 2019 through 2026, and a demo video is available.

Key features

  • Uglifies expressions into unreadable code
  • Cleans expressions into readable form
  • Protect your work or share it clearly
  • Supports After Effects CC 2019 to 2026
  • Demo video available
