What PathPrep does
PathPrep is a shape-layer helper for After Effects. Rectangles, ellipses and polystars are parametric, which makes them awkward when you need plain editable paths. This tool turns many of them into Bezier paths in a single pass.
It also bakes in shape transforms, selects every path at once, and copies the resulting clean vectors so they can be pasted elsewhere. Anyone who prepares vector artwork for animation, rigging or hand-off will find it saves repetitive clicking. It supports After Effects 2021 through 2025.
