Instant Physics
Developer: Isaac Burke
Adds simple secondary motion to existing Blender animation using a location or rotation offset, including multi-bone chains.
What Instant Physics does
Instant Physics is a lightweight add-on that layers follow-through onto motion you have already animated. It does not simulate gravity; instead, it inherits and amplifies your base movement for crisp, predictable results.
You control it with one or two values, a location or rotation offset. Many bones can be edited together for swinging chains, wagging tails and fluttering accessories, and it can anticipate motion, which makes procedural animation possible rather than purely reactive. Animators wanting secondary action without a physics setup will appreciate it.
Key features
- Secondary motion layered on existing animation
- Controlled by a location or rotation offset
- Inherits and amplifies base motion
- Edit many bones at once for chains and tails
- Anticipates motion for procedural results
