Kaboom
Developer: Picto Filmo
Blender add-on for destruction animation that fractures models, then drives explosions and crumbling with debris and smoke.
What Kaboom does
Kaboom is a step-based destruction tool for Blender. It fractures manifold models, or accepts prefractured ones, and then animates explosions and crumbling dynamics.
A Blast and Krumble stage plays the dynamics in real time, the result can be baked to keyframes in one click, and there are tools covering rough cuts, debris particles and smoke. VFX artists can produce collapsing buildings and blasts without managing many separate setups. The stepwise structure suits users who want to tune each phase separately, from the first fracture through the final debris, before baking the motion.
Key features
