Autoblend

Developer: specoolar

Download Free

Blender add-on blending objects together in screen space with the Compositor and Cryptomatte, in EEVEE or Cycles.

What Autoblend does

AutoBlend blends objects into each other as a post-processing effect, using the Compositor and Cryptomatte in Blender. It does not depend on scene complexity or materials.

It works with EEVEE and Cycles, though Cycles has a few limits. Artists wanting a soft joining between objects, such as with liquid or organic looks, can get it without modeling blend shapes. Because the blend happens at the image stage, it works on complex scenes with many materials, though results may vary depending on the render engine and settings.

Key features

  • Compositor and Cryptomatte based
