What MosaicArt does
MosaicArt from irrealix divides an image into a grid of cells in After Effects. The Unite Tiles Iterations parameter merges neighbouring cells into bigger ones, creating varied mosaic structures.
Merging can follow the lightness of the base image, the lightness of a custom layer, or happen randomly. Several tile types and presets are included, and it is compatible with After Effects from CC 2014 through 2026. It turns photos and footage into stylized tile patterns with a customisable grid.
