What Nbcleaner does
NBCleaner prepares Blender scenes for export or transfer to 3ds Max and other 3D packages. All its functions are in a pie menu opened with Shift+Q in Object Mode.
It merges duplicated materials across the scene or within an object's slots, clears all materials from selected objects, adds or removes numeric indices in material names, and strips custom split normals. Make it Export applies modifiers, merges objects and combines duplicate materials at once, while Remove Links & Empty clears parents and deletes empties while keeping each transform.
