Normal Map Converter
Developer: 3Z Axis
Switches normal maps between OpenGL and DirectX inside Blender by flipping the green channel.
What Normal Map Converter does
Normal Map Converter handles the common mismatch between OpenGL and DirectX normal maps. It flips the green channel to convert in either direction.
The original color space, such as Non-Color or sRGB, is kept, 8-bit or 16-bit depth is retained and float buffers are handled correctly. The conversion runs directly in Blender. Texture artists exchanging assets between Unreal, Unity and Blender avoid external image editors. Because it works inside Blender, converted images stay linked to your materials.
