One Click Albedo for Corona render and V-ray
Developer: Osetrov
3ds Max script that automatically corrects material albedo in Corona and V-Ray scenes by lowering bright and raising dark diffuse.
What One Click Albedo for Corona render and V-ray does
One Click Albedo checks the diffuse brightness of materials in 3ds Max and nudges them into a sensible range for physically based rendering. Overly bright diffuse values are reduced, with a new value worked out for each material, and overly dark colors or textures are lifted to a minimum you specify.
It supports Corona Physical Material, CoronaMtl and VrayMtl, handles textures at any nesting depth, and considers the existing diffuse level and the mix of color and texture. A customizable filter skips metals and glass. You can process every material, only those on selected objects, or those chosen in the Slate or compact editor, and save settings as defaults. It is useful with models from other authors.
