Blender add-on that provides color and weight paint palettes in the Image Editor and 3D View.

What Paint Palettes does

Paint Palettes gives Blender dedicated palette panels for color painting and weight painting. They appear in the Image Editor and the 3D View under any paint mode.

It was one of the add-ons bundled with Blender 4.1 and requires no special permissions, supporting Blender 4.2 LTS and newer. Texture painters and riggers who reuse the same colors or weight values can store and recall them easily. Having the palettes beside the canvas keeps frequently used colors and weight values within easy reach during long painting sessions.

Key features

  • Color Palette and Weight Palette panels

  • Works from any paint mode
