PhysicDesk
Developer: MotionDesk
Real-time 2D physics simulator inside the After Effects viewport that bakes results into native keyframes.
What PhysicDesk does
PhysicDesk by MotionDesk runs a 2D physics simulation directly in the After Effects viewport. Scenes are assembled from dynamic, static and animated bodies, which can be connected using pivot, weld, spring, wheel and rope joints.
Force zones simulate wind, magnets, portals and explosions, and further tools include particle emitters, fracture, soft bodies and sound-driven motion. When the motion looks right, it is baked into ordinary, fully editable After Effects keyframes. It supports After Effects 2022 through 2026, and suits artists wanting physics-driven animation without leaving their comp.
