pt_FrameRestorer 2
Developer: Paul Tuersley
Uses motion interpolation to repair dropped, damaged or duplicate frames and assist VFX clean-up in After Effects.
What pt_FrameRestorer 2 does
pt_FrameRestorer 2 by Paul Tuersley repairs footage problems in After Effects through motion interpolation. It restores dropped or duplicate frames from digital cinema cameras and replaces corrupt, damaged or missing ones, and it inserts frames to cure stutter from frame rate conversion.
A Reduce function builds automatically tracked patches from good frames on both sides to remove unwanted elements or focus slips. It can also cut motion blur artifacts from stabilized footage, reduce light flicker, and generate an interpolated clone source for dirt removal. It works with Twixtor, lifts TimeWarp's 5000-frame limit, and includes repeat markers and contextual help.
