Rowbyte TVPixel
Developer: Rowbyte
Breaks footage into red, green and blue sub-pixels like a TV or LCD display.
What Rowbyte TVPixel does
TVPixel by Rowbyte makes video look as if it's displayed on a screen seen close up. Footage is divided into red, green and blue pixels in the pattern of a television or LCD panel.
The gap between pixels can be adjusted, which controls how pronounced the grid appears. After Effects gets 32-bit floating point support, and the effect works in Premiere Pro too, on both Mac and Windows. It's useful for retro displays, monitor insert shots and glitch aesthetics.
