What Shadow Studio 3 does
Shadow Studio 3 generates raytraced shadows and light from a layer in After Effects, built by Plugin Everything. It gives flat graphics a sense of depth and light without a 3D scene.
An RGBA pipeline allows shadows to take on the colours of the source pixels, and gradients let you shape how they fade. Inverse shadows and inner shadows are available, the latter working with all modes. Texturing and compositing controls refine the result, and over 36 presets are included for CC 2021 and above.
