STACK3D
Developer: AutoMotion
An After Effects panel that turns vector and raster art into extruded 3D with bevels, face colours and a null rig.
What STACK3D does
STACK3D from AutoMotion automates the steps of making 3D logos and artwork in After Effects. It converts vectors and raster images into three dimensions, then gives them depth with custom geometry and bevels.
Faces can be coloured independently, problem paths are cleaned up, and everything is rigged to a null controller for easy animation. All of it lives in a single dockable panel. Motion graphics artists working in 3D, especially on logos and titles, can skip much of the manual layer building that extrusion normally requires.
Key features
- Converts vectors and raster images to 3D
- Extrusion with custom geometry and bevel
