Strange Attractors
Developer: 7bitretro
Blender add-on that generates strange attractor curves such as Lorenz in the 3D View, forked from Attractors.
What Strange Attractors does
Strange Attractors adds chaos-theory curves to Blender. It is a fork of mtyka's Attractors and adds chaos-theory shapes such as the Lorenz attractor via the Curve menu.
Several attractor types are available, including an added TSUCS1 attractor curve. Curves appear directly in the 3D View. Generative artists and motion designers can use the flowing, looping forms as abstract art or as paths for objects. The shapes make appealing abstract curves for backgrounds, bevelled tubes or objects animated along intricate paths.
