Tex Audit

Scans Blender scenes for oversized textures and VRAM use, optimizing images non-destructively with backups.

What Tex Audit does

Tex Audit checks how healthy a scene's textures are and helps reduce VRAM usage. A health scanner reports a score, estimated VRAM, oversized textures, duplicate images and corrupted data.

Optimization is non-destructive: originals are backed up automatically and any texture can be restored with one click. Artists working on heavy scenes can find the costliest images and shrink them safely. Under the hood you get health score and VRAM estimate and finds oversized and duplicate textures.

Key features
