What TextExploder does
TextExploder from mamoworld tools breaks a text layer into separate layers without disturbing how the type looks. Each character stays exactly where it was, and no expressions, text animators or other workarounds are involved.
You can split into characters, words or lines, isolate a single custom word, or define your own splits with regular expressions. With After Effects 24.3 or newer, per-character text styles are supported, so multi-colour and multi-font text survives the split. Animators who want individual control over each letter, such as for kinetic typography, get clean layers to keyframe directly.
