Timelapse X

Developer: Toss

Download Free

Blender add-on that records timelapses of your work and exports them as MP4 without outside software.

What Timelapse X does

Timelapse X records your creative process inside Blender, whether for a tutorial, a social post or just a record of a sculpt. Everything from capture to video export happens in the application.

You can capture the whole Blender window or shoot from a list of cameras, including animated ones. Idle detection saves frames only when something changes, shading can be locked, and the interval is adjustable with quick presets. Capture can pause and resume, frames save as PNG or JPEG, and one click compiles the sequence to H.264 MP4 through the VSE and FFmpeg.

Key features

  • Full-window or multi-camera capture
  • Idle detection and locked shading
  • Adjustable interval with presets, pause and resume
  • One-click MP4 export via VSE and FFmpeg
