What Volna 2 does
Volna 2 is irrealix's advanced stroke plugin for After Effects, built around masks and procedural lines. Built-in arrows, gradients and a blend tool let you create elaborate linework without drawing each element.
Noise distortion includes Curl Noise distortion and a Noise Loop, and recent versions add sprites as a primitives type plus Cross Lines with an Alpha Ramp. There is also an Across Masks direction mode and Begin and End Ramp shapes. Motion designers producing decorative, flowing strokes for titles and backgrounds will find it flexible.
