What aescripts + aeplugins Paint & Stick does
Paint & Stick adds fast raster painting directly to the After Effects composition window, so you paint in context with effects, track mattes and adjustment layers. Its patented Stick technique makes it possible to paint on a rendered 3D image from Cinema 4D with no 3D objects needed in After Effects; a stroke on one frame follows the whole animation.
Cel animators can use customizable onion skinning, including on adjustment layers. Brushes can be textured, imported from Photoshop, or captured from any part of the comp. A brush palette controls scattering, shape and colour dynamics, and Fast Draw mode keeps strokes smooth even at 4K. A free Sticky Pass plugin exports passes from Cinema 4D.
