Datamosh from Plugin Play breaks video apart in the style of corrupted compression, inside After Effects. It offers over 60 moshing algorithms across two engines, with sixteen times the precision of the original.
A modular marker workflow decides where moshing happens and lets you combine several mosh markers. Frames can be removed through rebuilt I-frame deletion, motion can be hijacked, and motion from marked areas can be swapped to elsewhere on the timeline. Mosh Maps use grey values to set intensity regions, and parameters cover Intensity, Acceleration, Blend and Threshold. Video artists after convincing datamosh results get a controlled process.
