High Pass
Developer: BGRA Entertainment
A free high pass filter effect for After Effects, with native Apple M1 support and wide version compatibility.
What High Pass does
High Pass from BGRA Entertainment is an effect that isolates fine detail in an image, a staple technique for sharpening and texture work. It is free.
It runs on After Effects from CS6 to 2024, has been native on Apple M1 since version 1.3, is notarised for macOS Catalina and later, and includes a fix for a VRAM leak on newer systems. Compositors and retouchers wanting a dependable high-pass step in a layer stack can use it across old and new installations.
