Dynamic Shadow 3 by Pixcode adds believable shadows to layers in After Effects. Its Visual Shadow engine applies shadow and light reflection to chosen objects and changes the angle based on layer position.
There are 19 shadow styles and 12 light styles to preview before choosing, and a 3D Shadow tool makes a directional shadow from any shape. Natural sunlight effects can be simulated, several layers can be selected as objects with different styles applied, and shadows, lights and reflections are adjustable. Motion designers grounding flat objects on a floor will find it much faster than manual shadow work.
