What Diffusion Glow does
Diffusion Glow adds a soft bloom around bright areas in DaVinci Resolve and Fusion Studio. From HOROPTR, it focuses on a refined glow that can be colored and shaped rather than a flat blur.
Both pixel and spectral dispersion are available, and the glow color can change from its core to its outer edge. Three decay modes give different falloff characters, and the output is independent of resolution. Acceleration uses CUDA on Windows and Metal on macOS. Colorists and VFX artists can use it to emulate halation, diffusion filters or light bleeding on highlights.
