What HOROPTR Diffusion Glow does
HOROPTR Diffusion Glow is a bloom effect for DaVinci Resolve and Fusion Studio. It brightens and softens the area around highlights, taking cues from optical diffusion rather than a plain blur.
The glow can be dispersed by pixel or by spectrum, tinted differently from its center to its outer fringe, and shaped with one of three decay modes. Output is independent of resolution, and acceleration relies on CUDA under Windows or Metal on macOS. Colorists and compositors can use it for halation, dreamy highlights, neon lights and sci-fi atmospheres.
